Payment Methods

Convertex accepts credit and debit cards through Stripe. All major card networks are supported:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

Adding a Payment Method

Go to Account Settings

Navigate to your account settings and click on the Billing section.

Add or Update Card

Click Update payment method. You will be redirected to Stripe's secure payment form where you can enter your card details.

Confirm

Once saved, your card will be used for all future charges. Stripe encrypts and securely stores your payment information.

Updating Your Card

If your card expires or you want to switch to a different one:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Update payment method.
  3. Enter your new card details on the Stripe form.
  4. Your previous card is replaced immediately.

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds), Stripe will retry automatically over the following days. You will receive an email notification. Update your card promptly to avoid service interruption.

Invoices

All invoices are available directly in your account settings:

  • Each successful payment generates an invoice.
  • Invoices include the plan name, billing period, amount charged, and tax information (if applicable).
  • You can download invoices as PDF for your records or expense reports.

To access your invoices, go to Account Settings > Billing > Invoice History.

Stripe Customer Portal

For advanced billing management, you can access the Stripe Customer Portal directly from your account settings. The portal lets you:

  • View your complete billing history.
  • Download any past invoice.
  • Update your payment method.
  • View upcoming charges.

Click Manage billing on Stripe in your account settings to open the portal.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Convertex subscription at any time:

Open Account Settings

Go to Account Settings > Billing.

Click Cancel Subscription

Select Cancel subscription and confirm your choice.

Access Until Period End

After cancellation, you keep full access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing period. No further charges will be made.

When your billing period ends after cancellation:

  • Your account is downgraded to the Free plan.
  • You retain access to the Free plan features (5 conversions/month, 1 project).
  • Your conversion history and project data are preserved -- nothing is deleted.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If you cancel on day 10 of a monthly cycle, you still have access until day 30. You will not be charged again.

Refund Policy

Because Convertex provides immediate access to digital services upon payment:

  • Monthly plans -- No refunds for the current billing period. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.
  • Annual plans -- If you contact us within 14 days of your annual renewal, we can issue a prorated refund for the unused portion. After 14 days, cancellation stops future renewals but does not trigger a refund.

For refund requests, contact us at support@convertex.io with your account email and reason for the request.

Billing Cycle and Proration

  • Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe to a paid plan.
  • The conversion counter resets on your billing date each month, not on the 1st of the calendar month.
  • Upgrades are prorated -- you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your current cycle.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You keep current plan features until then.
