History

Every conversion you perform in Convertex is automatically saved. The History panel lets you find, copy, or restore any past conversion.

Accessing the History

Click the History icon in the top bar. The panel opens and displays the list of all your past conversions, sorted from most recent to oldest.

What Each Entry Contains

Each history entry displays:

InformationDescription
NameThe name of the conversion (auto-generated by default)
Number of classesThe number of CSS classes generated during that conversion
DateThe date and time of the conversion

Copying a Conversion Result

Click the Copy button next to an entry to copy the result of that conversion to your clipboard. You can then paste it directly into Webflow Designer, even if it is an old conversion.

This is useful when you need to reuse a result without running the conversion again.

Restoring a Conversion to the Editor

Open the History panel

Click the History icon in the top bar.

Select the entry to restore

Click on the desired entry. The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code from that conversion is reloaded into the editor.

Verify the result

The preview updates automatically. You will find exactly the state of your work at the time of that conversion.

Restoring a conversion does not delete the other history entries. You can freely navigate between versions without losing anything.

Renaming an Entry

Click the name of an entry to edit it. Give it a descriptive name like "Hero v2 - with animation" or "Final footer" to find it easily later.

Deleting an Entry

Click the delete icon next to an entry to remove it from the history. This action is irreversible.

Deleting a history entry is permanent. The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code from that conversion can no longer be recovered.
