ConvertexShared Preview
The shared preview lets you generate a link that you can send to anyone. The recipient sees the visual rendering of your work (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) without having access to the source code.
What Is It For?
- Show a design to a client before integrating it into Webflow
- Ask for feedback from a colleague or designer on the visual rendering
- Share a functional mockup without giving access to your Convertex project
The link displays only the visual result. The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code is not visible to the person viewing the link.
Generating a Preview Link
Open your project
Make sure the code you want to share is in the editor with a working preview.
Click the share button
In the top bar, click the share button. A unique link is generated.
Copy and send the link
Copy the link and send it via email, Slack, or any other means. The recipient can open it in any browser.
Link Lifetime
The preview link remains active as long as the project exists in your Convertex account. If you delete the project, the link stops working.
The preview always reflects the current state of the project. If you modify the code after sharing the link, the recipient will see the updated version when they refresh the page.
What the Recipient Sees
The person who opens the link sees:
- The complete visual rendering (HTML + CSS + JavaScript)
- The design as it appears in the Convertex preview
The person does not see:
- The source code (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Your project or your other pages
- Your Convertex account
The shared preview is available on the Pro plan. The Free and Starter plans do not include this feature.
