Shared Previews Pro
Shared Previews let you generate a public URL for any conversion. Anyone with the link can view the fully rendered HTML/CSS output in their browser -- no Convertex account required. This makes it easy to collect feedback from clients, share progress with teammates, or document your work.
Why Use Shared Previews?
Getting sign-off on a design before importing it into Webflow saves time and avoids back-and-forth. Shared previews give stakeholders a way to see exactly what the final result will look like -- without needing access to Convertex or Webflow.
Key benefits:
- No login required. Recipients open the link in any browser and see the rendered page immediately.
- Full fidelity. The preview renders the same HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as your editor's live preview -- including external scripts.
- Responsive viewing. Viewers can resize their browser or use device toggles to check the design at different breakpoints.
- Simple feedback loop. Share the link via email, Slack, or any messaging tool. Discuss changes, then update and re-share.
Plan Requirements
Shared Previews are available on the Pro plan and above.

How Previews Work
When you generate a shared preview:
- Convertex creates a snapshot of your current conversion (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and active external scripts).
- The snapshot is hosted on a unique, randomized URL (e.g.,
https://preview.convertex.dev/abc123xyz). - The URL is accessible to anyone -- no authentication needed.
- The preview auto-expires after 30 days from creation. After expiry, the URL returns a "preview expired" page.
Shared previews are read-only snapshots. Changes you make in the editor after generating a preview do not update the existing link. Generate a new preview to share the latest version.
What Viewers See
When someone opens a shared preview link, they see:
- The rendered page at full width, just as it appears in the Convertex live preview.
- A toolbar at the top with responsive breakpoint toggles (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile Landscape, Mobile Portrait).
- A "Powered by Convertex" badge with a link to the product page.
Viewers cannot access the source code, JSON output, or any account-specific data.
Expiration and Limits
- Previews expire 30 days after creation.
- There is no limit to the number of active previews per account.
- Expired previews cannot be restored -- generate a new one from the same conversion if needed.
Shared preview links are public. Anyone with the URL can view the content. Do not share previews containing sensitive or confidential information unless you are comfortable with public access.
